A First Step to New Life

Purpose and Intent
Our purpose is to help rebuild the lives of individuals by addressing root issues of problem behaviors. This is a faith based approach by showing participants how to make God the focus of their lives. Individuals are taught the discipline needed to make the right decisions instead of easy ones in all situations. We seek to instill a good work ethic balanced with Biblically based principles in order to help individuals meet their potential.

Individuals in the B.A.D.D. School live in a protected environment, away from daily problems, while working on foundational issues. The B.A.D.D. School is not a recovery home, rehabilitation center, or shelter; it is where people learn new life skills to change their lives. At this time, the B.A.D.D. School is not equipped to accept couples, disabled (blind, requiring excessive medical care), or those having special dietary needs. In addition, because all living needs are provided for, individuals must relinquish governmental support (including Social Security, General Relief, food stamps, or VA funds—VA medical is fine).

BADD School
The B.A.D.D. School, also known as the Discipleship School, is comprised of three phases that build on each other into a comprehensive whole. All phases are in-house, fully supervised, full-time, and live-in residencies. The following is an outline of the three phases that make up the school.

Phase I & II
Once an individual is accepted into the school, they begin in First Phase. This first step has an emphasis on memorization of core principles, isolation from the previous lifestyle, and ending any substance abuse the individual may have. Second Phase begins when the individual starts the New Testament Survey. The Survey is a year long cirriculum that goes through every book of the New Testament teaching valuable life lessons. During Phase 1 & 2, residents are on an intense daily study schedule.

Phase III
After successfully completing Phase 2, individuals will be evaluated; those that are not working towards true change will be released at this time. The daily schedule for Phase III allows for an equal balance between personal growth, group study, and the development of positive work habits.

After one year, if the individual has completed the Survey and has shown new maturity, they will be placed in the next graduating class.

To be considered for graduation, individuals must:

• Complete one year at the B.A.D.D. Organization
• Complete all requirements
(memorizations, survey, and all corrections)
• Exhibit an outward change and a new attitude

After Graudation
Individuals who graduate the first year school may apply to stay and enter a second year program, called the B.A.D.D. Leadership Training School. Continuing graduates will be trained in helping others and meeting the needs of those around them. Additionally, graduates may also apply to serve with other ministries networked with the B.A.D.D. Organization.
